Key to apartment not working well

Question: The key to my apartment door doesn't work very well. When I mentioned it to the landlord, he sprayed something in the lock and said that's all he could do. It still doesn't work well. Is there anything I can do to make it work better?

Fourchalk: Yes, call your landlord and tell him your lock needs to be re-pinned. You don't necessary need new keys, however the cylinder needs to be taken out of the lock and new pins inserted to correct the problem. If your landlord doesn't oblige, show him this column.
