Goran is a passionate Macedonian who has made Canada his home for thirteen years. He was an electrician by trade but truly an artist in his heart. He began sculpture as a hobby but it quickly became his full time profession. His first medium was woodcarving but that was just too time consuming and expensive. He now carves in plasticene, modeling clay, from which he creates a rubber mold and then uses the mold to reproduce his work in plaster.

POMPEII PLAQUE - Inspired by a photograph of a wall in Pompeii depicting three figures. Goran loves classical sculpture and he especially likes carving the female form.

RENAISANCE PLAQUE - One of Goran's favourite pieces, this plaque is taken from a stylized floral design created in the renaissance period. He particularly loves it for its detail.
