Carol Anne Castray The
Tin Taj Carol Anne, studied fine art at OCA, in Ontario, and in Florence, Italy but most recently she has studied as a tinsmith in Mexico. She now owns a shop in Toronto Ontario where she creates objects such as cabinets for bathrooms and kitchens, mirror and picture frames, switch plate covers and wastebaskets (all to match if you wish). Carol Anne draws her inspiration from her travels in Turkey, South America, Thailand, India and Europe. She began her career by drawing murals in Toronto and Brazil and has designed and created an anima-themed jewelry line. The photo is of a painting of her cat called Freda Gato. Carol Anne made the tin frame to reflect the lines and shapes in the painting. |
