The copper chandelier is mostly hand-turned, woven & spiraled copper. A heating process makes it malleable for weaving and the heat also oxidizes it and patinizes it. |

Tin Taj Stacy's first love is art jewelry, earrings, necklaces and bracelets; each unique and never cast. Her work has an antique look and often appears as though it had been sitting on the bottom of the ocean. That look is achieved through combining different metals like copper and sterling silver in one object. Stacy provided us with a copper box in the shape of a slice of cake and a copper plaque with a small mirror. On one side of the 'cake box', she has stamped a nineteenth century recipe for ginger cake and Marie Antoinette's immortal words, "Let them eat cake". |
