Martin works closely with his wife Sharon on the furniture he builds, restoration of horse-drawn vehicles and with their horses. Martin builds the furniture and Sharon makes it beautiful with her painting.

Martin is very dedicated to functional quality in furniture. He re-made the child's rocking chair at least five times in order to find the necessary balance giving it a good rocker feel. He recently widened the seat to make it even more comfortable for small bottoms.

Although the sample we have is unfinished, Sharon typically makes them sing with painted colour. She particularly likes to paint them with a trio of teddy bears from the ones collected by her daughter.
